NØDI è il nuovo progetto di SUMO e BAUMHAUS: una serie di appuntamenti tra talk e club night, in cui il dancefloor si apre a nuove narrazioni, attraversando territori ibridi, per vivere la bass culture globale attraverso pratiche sonore non convenzionali.
Per il secondo appuntamento SUMO unisce le forze con FLEURS SONORES per presentarvi il debutto italiano di due HEAVYWEIGHTS della scena bass UK: K65 & MANI FESTO, due artisti che stanno portando nel panorama della bass music internazionale avanguardia e basse frequenze a profusione
FLEUR SONORES – BLOOMING IN THE UNSEEN
Fleurs Sonores è un collettivo di DJ e promoter con sede a Roma, nato dall’iniziativa di Gianpaolo Tuzzo (Collider) e Giovanni Olivotto (Hemolymph). Attivo dal 2023, il progetto si dedica alla promozione delle sonorità più contemporanee della club music, spaziando tra techno, electro, UK garage, jungle e bass futuristica. Dal novembre 2024 il collettivo si è ampliato con l’ingresso di Blunderr, Fennec III e MA\E, rafforzando ulteriormente la propria visione artistica.
Fleurs Sonores si propone come piattaforma aperta e dinamica per la club culture di domani, con un’attenzione costante all’innovazione e alla creazione di spazi sonici condivisi.
K65
Bristol based DJ and producer K-65, is known for subby basslines and cutting breaks across multiple tempos. More recently incorporating heavy influence from the dark underground world of electro, his productions now fuse acid, wubs and 808s with whipping snares and rolling breaks. Aiming to make hard hitting tracks for the UK’s dance floors, his productions strive to be high in energy and dark in flavour.
MANI FESTO
Mani Festo is an alchemist, creating transportive, perception-altering electronic music. His sound is a juxtaposition of influences, deploying elements of Breakbeat, Acid, Electro and Techno into a hybrid sonic signature that is both deep and powerful in equal measure.
He uses expressive productions, live performances and Dj sets to tell a story, approaching each with the same vision and technical execution that enables him to narrate a captivating world of cerebral machine music. Pulsating synthesizer loops, syncopated breakbeat rhythms and intricate sound design have all become a part of the Mani Festo sound.
Having lived a life around sound systems, embarking on missions into forests and warehouses in his youth, counting most of his formative experiences at clubs and festivals. His deep understanding and love of this culture is something that comes across clearly, from production to design, djing to live performance. Mani Festo is committed to electronic music in its many forms, on a journey that respects the past, whilst exploring new routes into the future.
